See AllLodge Our cozy lodge is located on an island in the middle of the breathtaking Reservoir Gouin. It has 7 rooms and can accommodate up to 18 people.The dining room features exquisite cuisine highlighting local products. We offer refined menu options of fish, game as well as our chef’s inspirations. The fireplace offers warmth and ambiance to both the dining room and the lounge area where you can enjoy appetizers or after-dinner drinks. Our terrace extends the dining room and offers a captivating view of the Reservoir Gouin where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink.Our superb white sand beach extends for 4km in front of the lodge where the gentle waters provide an ideal swimming spot during the summer season.Houseboat Our houseboat allows you to change scenery and navigate the vast and spectacular Réservoir Gouin.This floating cottage is completely equipped and can accommodate 4 to 6 people. Both rooms are furnished with bunk beds with a single bunk on top and double on the bottom. A futon is also available in the living room.Cabin Club Principal cabins can accomodate from 2 to 8 guests, and even your favourite pets.Our 4-star log cabins are accessible by boat (provided) or seaplane. Each are secluded, providing privacy and peacefulness to each of our guests. Inside, you will find: a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, running water and a wood stove to keep you comfortable.Each accommodation has its own fishing shack where you can eviscerate your catch as well as a dock for your fishing boats. Serenity, service, cleanliness and quality of fishing best describe Club Principal’s raison d’être.

Read MoreFounded in 1999, Club Principal – L’Aventurier, formally known as L’Aventurier du Gouin, was built on an island in the middle of the majestic Reservoir Gouin. The Outfitter has since welcomed thousands of fishing enthusiast, providing them with extraordinary experience, rich in history.
In 2022, Maxime Duval acquired the Outfitter with the objective of making it one of the world’s most unique fishing sites. The Club Principal – L’Aventurier’s mission is to redefine the level of comfort and service worthy of an authentic International Fishing Club.
